The attenuations of this sarcode are prepared from the fresh blind gut (intestinum coecum) of a healthy pig (Sus scrofa domesticus).

The main indications are:
Disturbances of intestinal excretion. Chronic constipation. General toxic overloading. Has a stimulating effect on detoxifying and excretory processes.
